Baking Powder, Double Acting

Double-acting baking powder is perfect for all your home baking, it is harder to overbeat the ingredients and your recipe will be less susceptible to failure should you forget to preheat your oven. Use Double Acting Baking powder in batters where there is no acid present, such as in: cookies, cakes, pastries, pies, quick bread, etc. It makes the baked goods voluminous by forming carbon dioxide when the baked good is heated.
