Subject to the washing and general care of the underwear, it will last for 6 months to 2 years.Pelvi Period Underwear FAQ’sWhat fabric are Pelvi Period Undies made from?Pelvi period underwear is made with 95% cotton and no PFAS or migratory silver treatments, making them high quality and breathable.The Inner Layer is cotton and elastane, outer layer is a nylon cotton mix, and the waterproof lining is breathable TPU.Is period underwear good for mild incontinence?Yes, if you suffer from mild incontinence, or occasional bladder leaks, then period underwear is an excellent reusable, comfortable, and absorbent alternative to pads.Do I need to wear other menstrual products with period underwear?Some people wear period underwear in addition to tampons or menstrual cups to act as added protection from leaks on heavy flow days or overnight. However, period underwear is designed and suitable to wear on its own as a complete replacement of disposable period products.How many pairs of period undies do I need?If they are your sole form of period protection, we would recommend 5-7 pairs of period underwear to ensure you have enough to make it through your period.
